HR Generalist / Recruiter - Join a winning team!
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR... 
Candidates with strong with full scale Recruiting /Payroll and Administrative functions.
They must also exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships
Top candidates should be comfortable managing gray areas, effective at scheduling and methodical in the recruitment process, documentation, reporting, data analysis, investigation on changing legal guidelines/regulations as well as experience with a payroll platform.
 
HR Generalist Responsibilities
RECRUITMENT -Acquiring candidates (on site/off site job fairs), processing candidates, scheduling virtual/onsite interviews, maintaining candidate log, perform initial interview, coordinate secondary interviews with Hiring Leaders, prepare and distribute onboarding/new hire documents, handle onboarding and testing requirements.
 
PAYROLL  - Will be responsible for data mining from Payroll platform (PAYCOM) and will be backup for HR Coordinator in Payroll Processing. 
 
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT - Work with Associates in resolution of issues/requests/engagement programs.
 
ADMINISTRATION - Record Retention, Data Mining, Report Generation/Analysis, Communications, Management of Logs for a variety of programs including: Safety, Candidates, Training/Development, New Engagement, I-9 Retention, Benefits, Retirement, Performance Reviews.
 
CORE DAYS - Mon-Fri
CORE HOURS - 8AM-5PM
EXPECTATIONS - 45+ hrs/wk
NOTE: Needs to be able to work as early as 7am  for : special projects/open enrollment/plant meetings , etc

 HR Generalist Requirements: 
  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related (essential).
  •  2 years of experience in a HR Role or Recruiter (essential). 
  •  Deep understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations. 
  •  Efficient HR administration and people management skills. 
  • Excellent record-keeping skills. 
  • Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines. 
  • Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, Powerpoint, Sharepoint and communication software. 
  • Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills. 
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
