Job Summary:
The shipping position is responsible for split duties between shipping and receiving. This is a full time, hourly position. This is a Drug Free Workplace. Job Responsibilities:
1. Unload and load trucks using tow motors or manual lifting
2. Obtains samples from the sample room/railcars on siding and transport as required
3. Hookup and pump from railcars ensuring correct configuration of suction and discharge hoses, as well as proper silo hookup
4. Print and apply shipping/raw material labels
5. Make scanner transfers using QAD
6. Pick orders and transfer product from one location to another
7. Wrap and stage orders for shipping
8. Load orders
9. Weigh and log rejected or contaminated materials
10. Process appropriate paperwork and keep accurate records
11. Straighten and consolidate materials/supplies
12. Verify counts for both shipping and receiving products
13. General housekeeping
14. Backup for utility positions with production as needed
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED preferred
2. Basic math skills
3. Basic computer skills
4. Sit down tow motor experience, certification preferred
5. Ability to read and understand basic written and verbal instructions
6. Ability to communicate clearly, accurately and in a timely manner
7. Previous shipping/receiving experience is helpful
